Q&A with co-owner of Te.de & Co

This month we caught up with Dale Robyn from Te.de & Co.

Te.de & Co are an interior design company specialising in content and design for social media. Based in Queensland, headed up by sisters Dale & Tracey. For this catch up Dale sat down with us to chat all things business & life.

Q:  How did you come up with the name Te.de & Co?

We wanted something that was significant to us as sisters as well as incorporating our name, or part of. Trace actually came up with the ‘tede’, T for Tracey and D for Dale and just adding the ‘e’ to create our own brand.

Q:  Can you tell us where you live and what you love about it?

I’m currently living in North Arm on an acreage property with my Sis. I love the serenity and peace and we are located right in the middle of two unique and cute towns, Yandina and Eumundi. There are loads of choice for morning coffee!!

We are all about you, listening to your needs, feeling the joy of those beautiful pieces that you may already have in your home and creating a cohesive flow, in a minimalistic way. It’s a lifestyle, your lifestyle.

Q:  Tell us about you, what business do you run and how long have been doing it for?

I have a background in fashion, Bridal Styling, lighting design and worked as a Gallery Assistant whilst studying Interior Design. My Sis and I are currently embarking on a joint venture, bringing all of our knowledge together to create a unique and personalised experience with Te.de & Co. We are all about you, listening to your needs, feeling the joy of those beautiful pieces that you may already have in your home and creating a cohesive flow, in a minimalistic way. It’s a lifestyle, your lifestyle.

We have loads of ideas and are currently working on another new and exciting project to take our business to the next level!

Q:  How are you dealing with COVID and when do you think we will get to travel again?

I’m dealing with Covid week by week, and breaking it down even further, day by day. I’m very content in my own Country and State right now however I really feel for those who aren’t able to return home from overseas and can only hope for them, that travel will be not too far away.

Q:  Can you give our readers some advice on starting a business or collaborating with others?

Wow! Where do you start? Sometimes it can feel as though you might be starting in the middle or even visualising the end result. Start anywhere. Each small idea, thought, or conversation can lead to amazing things if you allow it. An absolute passion for what you’re creating is really the key and being ok knowing there will be ebbs and flows. Concentrate on your journey, make it yours, try not to get caught up in what others are doing, take it in, take it on and continue with your vision. Be uniquely you and own it!

Thank you Dale for taking the time to chat with Sunday Cowgirl. We love you being a part of the SC family and helping us look good. Please reach out to Dale with any questions or work enquiries via the Instagram link below.
